We've been in Grenada for over a month now. It's been a busy few weeks!
The kids went to a sailing camp for 3 weeks and had a lot of fun. They also learned a lot even though, the camp wasn't very well organized. The majority of the instructors were on vacation the last week of the camp and Ernesto, Stewart (from Skylark) and Greg (from So What) found themselves pretty much in charge of the whole class.

On the last day of sailing camp we got our new wind generator. With the smile of a kid with a new toy, Ernesto quickly started the process of setting it up. With the experience of installing the solar panels more than a year ago, the wind generator installation went smoothly and quick.
With the joy of having the ability to produce more electricity, we headed out with Skylark and So What to the Tobago Cays up north.
We spent 10 days there, snorkelling and enjoying beautiful beaches. It reminded us a lot of our time in The Bahamas, with its clear blue water and white sand beaches.

Look at all those lobsters! Too bad we were in a park and lobster season is not open yet... |

Back in Grenada, we quickly fell into a routine. School in the morning, something fun in the afternoon. Three times a week there was beach volleyball and beer afterwards. A lot of times we ended up spending our afternoons in the University Club's pool. We rented a car and did some sightseeing. There was also a dinghy drift and dinghy concert: One of the marinas set up a barge for bands to play on, and a whole bunch of dinghies tied up to it to listen to great reggae.
There was bingo nights once a week, where if you're the lucky winner, you could end up walking home (or dinghying to your boat) with a live goat, rabbit or pig. Unfortunately for us, the one night we went to bingo, we didn't win.

The last few days have been a bit stressful as we keep a close eye on Hurricane Danny. Everybody was ready to head south to Trinidad but it seems Danny will head north and skip Grenada this time. In the meantime, we are also getting ready to haul out Taia on Monday. We'll leave her on the hard for a month her bottom dries up for some new barrier coat and anti fouling. We'll fly to Canada for a month and visit our family there. Everybody is super excited to go back to Canada after 2 years and reunite with family and friends.
